3DCVIA 2015

First 3D Computer Vision and Image Analysis Workshop 2015

July 8 - July 10, 2015, Rennes, France

Submissions

3DCVIA will include tracks on technical papers, posters, and invited speakers. Submissions for technical papers are invited in all areas of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Visualization, and Computer Graphics. Research papers in science, engineering, sports, and medicine are welcome, as is any contribution that reports on new or exciting findings or demonstrates new industrial applications of vision or graphics technologies. The posters program offers a unique opportunity to showcase case studies, work-in-progress, student projects, or non-traditional research. Posters will be displayed for one full day with time for the presenters to have one-on-one dialogue with attendees.

We are currently seeking technical support for IEEE online proceedings.

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:

Augmented and Virtual Reality
Automated visual surveillance
Biomedical Imaging and Visualisation
Feature detection and feature extraction
Geometric algebra in vision and graphics
Graph matching
Human Computer and Human Robot Interfaces
Image based rendering
Image processing for environmental sciences
Image analysis and understanding
Modelling, rendering and animation techniques
Motion tracking and analysis
Object recognition
Pattern recognition, clustering, and classification
Reconstruction techniques
Scientific visualization
Stereo analysis
Shape recovery from multiple images

All submissions (technical paper and poster) should be as complete manuscripts (4 to 6 pages including references) since all submissions will be peer reviewed by a panel of experts in the field. Both poster and technical paper submissions will be permitted six double column format pages in the proceedings. Papers longer than six pages will not be printed in the proceedings.

a  The LaTeX System Tester is included in the LaTeX archives content. The package includes instructions on how to test your LaTeX system settings and reconfigure them as necessary to enable you to emulate the "control output" for the best PDF conversion. You are strongly encouraged to perform this test before laying out your final manuscript.

b  Access IEEEtran LaTeX Class (template) V1.7 packages and IEEEtran V1.12 BibTeX (bibliography) packages. Be sure to use the template's conference mode. See template documentation for details.

In submitting a paper the author(s) agree that, upon acceptance, they will prepare the final manuscript in time for the inclusion into the published proceedings and will present the paper at the Conference. Final manuscripts will not be published without advance registration. Note that oral and poster presentations have equal billing in the proceedings.

The conference will consist of a mix of oral and poster sessions. No distinction will be made between the two types of presentation in the proceedings.
